Dressing For Winter | Sheepskin Boots, Scarf & Cape
The cold weather has really fix in now and I think this is my first proper "dressed for winter" outfit this season.
Not only am I bundled up in my greatcoat, chapeau and scarf, but I'thou besides wearing my ridiculously warm Canterbury Sheepskin boots that I was kindly gifted a few weeks ago – I've had time to route test them thoroughly and I can honestly say they're the warmest things that have ever graced my feet (and I endure from really cold tootsies)!
New Zealand company Canterbury Sheepskin has an impressive collection of boots and slippers which are paw made from sheepskin of the finest quality, with dense wool and fine suede. Although I probably wouldn't wear them in the summer, sheepskin is warm in winter and cool in the summertime due to its moisture absorbing qualities. I chose the Artica tall boot which has exposed sheepskin and a shaped low heel – truth exist told I don't particularly like "Ugg" style boots but I think these are styled beautifully and I dearest them in tan. They are incredibly comfortable and as mentioned earlier, they keep my feet warm like you wouldn't believe. To be able to get away with just one pair of socks inside a pair of boots and still have toasty toes is a godsend!
